Yohan is a Computer Science Ph.D. student at the University of Central Florida. He joined the ISUE lab in the Spring of 2022 as an undergraduate student and finished his Honors Bachelors of Science in Computer Science at UCF in 2024 before starting his Ph.D.

Yohan has been involved in projects involving spatial perception in VR, selection and gesture recognition in VR, presence and collaboration in VR/AR. His research interests include applications of Generative AI and Large Language Models; Cybersecurity with a focus on privacy and security in VR; the programming/design of Virtual Environments adept to human-computer interactions; the usage of NLP in Virtual Environments and interfaces for VR; the design of new 3D interaction techniques.
